The
Law Offices of Richard A. Tinnelly
was established
in 1989 to provide quality legal representation
to Southern California homeowners
associations. The firm's success is
evidenced by its continual growth,
its reputation for quality service,
and its recognition by the community
association industry as one of California's
most experienced general counsel firms.
We
believe that our firm is unique to Southern
California in that we limit our practice
solely to the representation of homeowners
associations. Our firm does not, however,
extend its representation of associations
to the fields of assessment collection
or construction deficiency litigation.
We believe these areas of law are better
served by the retention of specialists
in those areas. We likewise believe
that the representation of associations
in both the general counsel and construction
deficiency litigation arena creates
a conflict of interest which cannot
necessarily be resolved.
Our
firm maintains offices in Aliso Viejo,
Palm Desert, and San Diego, from where
we service Orange, San Diego, Riverside,
Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties.
We carefully monitor our firm's growth
to assure a consistent level of quality
performance.
We
have developed a special expertise in
the areas of contract review and preparation,
insurance, contract reviews for the
purpose of determining coverage available
to the association and its vendors,
and likewise specialty agreements for
the retention of professional consultants
which provide for fair and equitable
exchanges of duties and obligations
with regard to services, indemnity,
and performance.
We
believe that directing our focus solely
to the areas of the law within which
we practice allows our firm to develop
a broader base of experience and understanding
of these areas of the law, and assures
that we maintain our reputation for
providing prompt, efficient and top
quality legal services.
